Are you a born-again believer?

Yes, I am. I used to sit and watch Dr Frederick K C Price on TV and was in awe of his teachings and words of wisdom. Then almost a year later he stated he was hosting his last Easter Sunday Service in my hometown, Long Beach, CA,. That was in April 1985. I felt a powerful draw that day, an extreme urgency to be there, at that service, to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to get to know God for myself. Well I made that service. I cannot tell you a single word that was said that Sunday. I sat anxiously awaiting the end of the service all I knew was I wanted Jesus. At the end of the service I ran down the aisle to the meeting floor and joined a group of new converts for instructions on "How to become Born-Again Christian". I repeated the prayer with an intensity that is still with me to this day. Then with further instruction, I received the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. My next step was to attend a small church down the street from my home that I visited once by the invite of an associate but quickly ran out the door because "They we speaking some weird language." Oops, now I was one of them. The Pastor, Dr. James Phillip Norman, Jr. was one of Dr. Price's ministers and taught with the same skill, knowledge and wisdom. There I learned the truth of God's word, the extent of God's love and why Jesus died for me. I met God face-to-face under that ministry have been in His face ever since.

Are you currently serving in ministry?

Yes. Currently I am the Lead Servant for Heart 2 Heart Women's Ministry at Tabernacle International Church in Lawrenceville. It is a great honor to be chosen by God to use my gift of teaching and prophesy to lead His daughters.

Are you married or single?

Married

What activities do you enjoy?

Lately, blogging. My husband's company. Reading, I enjoy the Bible, self-helps and ministry tools. A good who-dun-it movie or book. Walking, talking with our Power Group and hanging out over a good meal.

Do you have children? If so how many?

Yes, 3. Two sons and a daughter.

God Is All About US

God is all about us and we are all about him. Most people look at church and God as "Old Foggy and Boring". I beg to differ. Here at TIC there is always something going on. Whether you need ministry or a fun outlet, it's here. Our mission is not to be boring but to be accurate in the delivery of God's word so we all can live a life that is holy, acceptable and pleasing to God. That is what our focus should be about. With that kind of lifestyle there are rewards of abundant love: God to us, us to Him, us to one another. And then there is fellowship, one with another and there is the building of family. For me, from the time got saved in 1985 until this day there has only ever been my church family. My natural family lives many mile away but God has always provided for me all that I needed in the body. An adult woman to mentor me, a strong righteous Christian Pastor to keep me headed in the right direction. Sisters and brothers who not only held me accountable for my decisions and lifestyle, but who also helped me through some very tough times in my life. God knows how to fulfill us wherever we go. Once again I have found a very wonderful church family right here in Ga. At TIC and trust me both Pastor Charles and I are grateful for it. But it does not come automatically. The word says "We must be friendly in order to have friends". The same goes for family. We must extend ourselves as family in order to gain family. So come on, join in our family, I promise the rewards far outweigh the cost.
